Wings iNet Technologies implemented the CaptainPad CMS, one of the most important benifits has been the time and cost saving. By using CaptainPad CMS (Central Management System) administrator is able to manage several database from a central location, and to provide restaurant managers with varied levels of access to the point of sale depending on their needs and role.
Each Outlet needs to have a leagal copy of OS and antivirus s/w. (Windows Xp or Linux). Outlet will have to installed CaptainPad POS, CaptainPad MMS servers running on a “Server machine”. Each Outlet will have internet connectivity medium e.g. CDMA USB modem or GPRS modem or broadband connection. Head Office will have a standalone server machine with proper power backup. It will have a internet connectivity with static IP (e.g. broadband connection with static IP) It will have a CaptainPad CMS software (Central Management System ) running. The security will be assured by antivirus s/ws and firewalls. It will be running for 24Hrs a day or whenever a data is to be exchanged across the outles. (e.g. 9-12 am etc)
The CMS S/W will get all the MIS reports on daily basis from all the configured outlets which will be available all the time for your analysis. It will be a Web based application so data can be accessed from anywhere in the world with proper user id and password. The Central Management System will take care of most of the operation issues in managing the chain of restaurants, however scope of reports required at the central sever software needs to be discussed. At day close event, MIS reports from CaptainPad POS will be automatically transferred to the central server ( Sale reports). At the day open event, MIS reports from CaptainPad MMS will be automatically transferred to the central server after the actual stock balance is fed in.(Stock reports)
